Camera Gear

  • Kodak v570 Digital Camera
    • Wide angle lense
    • MPEG-4 Video Format
  • SmartDisk PhotoBank
    • External 40GB drive used to copy the contents of digital camera flash cards. This allows me to store over 20 hours of video without having to buy multiple flash cards. Takes about ten minutes to transfer a full 2GB card.
  • Two 2GB Flash Cards
    • Allows me to always have one card in my camera to record video and another in my PhotoBank to save the contents to the hard drive.
  • Two digital camera batteries.
    • Allows me to always have one battery in my camera and another always charging.
  • Digital camera battery charger
    • I always have a battery charging. My charger is plugged into my Powerlet port.
  • Ram Mount Suction Cup Mount
    • Allows me to mount my camera on any flat and slightly curved surfaces. Almost any angle is possible and I have never had the mount loosen up due to vibration, although I always tie a string to it and secure it to my bike (just in case it falls off).
